Sold new at “Jay Jay Chevrolet” in Gulfport, Mississippi on July 24, 1967 to Ronald L. Shaver, a navy hospital corpsman stationed in Gulfport.
He was sent to Vietnam on April 10, 1968 and was killed in action by enemy rifle fire on July 22, 1968.
His wife, Patricia, held on to the Chevelle for another 38 years and with a “heavy heart” sold it in 2006.
A considerable amount of documents and photos are included with this Chevelle
along with a handwritten letter from Patricia and her contact information.
