Highly documented, special ordered, #s match!
Original window sticker, Protect-O-Plate and 5 build sheets.
Ordered new by Thomas Drake, a Fremont, California GM assembly plant employee, through Central Chevrolet Co. in Fremont. On February 7, 1969, Drake’s boss. Mr. E. Bettencourt, gave him a letter showing the scheduled production date for Tuesday, February 11, 1969 and provided Drake with 5 build sheets that would normally be placed in various locations of the vehicle.
Mr. Drake took delivery of this Chevelle on February 13, 1969 and retained ownership until 2007.
This car is truly one of the most amazing, original survivors one could ever hope to find and was special ordered in “Rally Green” and “stripe delete”. The factory original assembly line markings on the firewall are still very readable and show the car as a special order as does the original trim tag with deleted paint code.
The drivetrain is 100% #s matching and original to this car as are most components including hardware.
Equipped just as it left the factory, nothing added or deleted.
Factory options and features include:
Three weeks were spent thoroughly cleaning and moderately detailing the Chevelle from bumper to bumper.
It has been fully serviced, test driven and a pleasure to drive with no issues.
