Beautifully restored 2-owner cabover that originated in Colorado and was only driven periodically during farming season for hauling grain.
In 1999 the truck was sold to an Oregon car collector who spent a great deal of time (and money) restoring this rock-solid cabover which included lowering the stock suspension several inches, upgrading the rearend to a late 1980s dually differential, all new wiring, brakes,
high quality body and paint in “Tropical Turquoise” and “India Ivory”, all new chrome, glass, trim, headliner, weatherstrip seals, rebuilt seat with 1955 Nomad 2-tone seat cover and finally a set of 16” Ultra 8-lug chrome custom alloys with Toyo Open Country Tires.
In 2005, he lost interest in finishing the truck and it sat inside for 17 years.
In December of 2022, the truck was sold to Northwest House of Hardtops and finally completed in May 2024.
Features include:
Rebuilt 265 V8 engine
New dual exhaust system
Stock 4 speed transmission
Standard heater
Radio delete
Turn signals
Custom carpet and insulation
Nicely detailed engine and undercarriage
Custom built bed with side rails (88” wide x 159” in length)
All exposed boards were cut and milled from glue lam beams nearly 100 years old, then stained and finished with satin clear.
Afterwards the entire bed was framed in polished aluminum diamond plate.
Highly detailed and show ready!
